January 1, 2024 I began a 31 day painting challenge with other pastel artists across the country.
We are all members of a Patreon group for pastel artists, led by Jacob Aguiar who is a master pastelist.

The objective was to complete a new painting every day for the month of January.

It went well! I was able to complete 31 paintings but more importantly I feel it strengthened me in many ways as an artist.

These paintings are a reflection of my travels through Minnesota and Wisconsin.

I hope you enjoy them.
